This week’s FRIDAY reports that actress Rena Tanaka (30) and actor Yuki Sato (26) have been dating for some time now. The magazine published photos of the couple taken earlier this month, showing them riding together on Sato’s motorcycle and holding hands as they left Sato’s apartment. It is also said that Tanaka was seen spending the night at Sato’s place on one occasion.
It appears that their relationship started last year, when they both appeared in the NHK drama series “Haken no Oscar.” Tanaka played the lead role, while Sato played a co-worker who confessed his love for her. While their characters failed to achieve a relationship in the drama, they were much more successful off-screen.
Both of their management agencies declined to comment on their private lives, neither confirming nor denying the relationship.
Sato, who was also known as Tomohito Sato under a previous management agency, has appeared in several dramas but is perhaps best known for playing the role of Kamen Rider Gatack in the “Kamen Rider Kabuto” series, alongside lead actor Hiro Mizushima.
