Young actress Kawashima Umika (16) had to put on her glasses yesterday, because she got awarded as the youngest glasses best dresser ever at the “25th Nihon Megane Best Dresser Awards” in Tokyo.
It’s quite rare to see Kawashima with glasses when she’s acting and she actually received the award in the category of “celebrities you’d like to see with glasses more often”. She also likes her glasses and will try to wear them more often from now on. “I almost never get to wear them at work, but I would be really happy if the chances of wearing glasses in movies and dramas were about to increase from now on,” she said. In private and in school she’s said to be wearing her glasses way more often.
About boys with glasses she commented, “It would be a fresh impressions if he was wearing some stylish glasses in a casual manner.”
