Standard and limited edition of “nexus” released on September 14th and put ClariS’s third single 5th in Oricon’s daily rankings. The limited edition is packaged in anime illustration digipack and includes a bonus DVD with music video for “nexus”.
The single and even ClariS are tied-in with the ninth volume of Tsukasa Fushimi‘s Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (Oreimo) comedy light novel series, which shipped on September 10. The novel will feature a cameo by the musical duo as a pair of middle school girls 
from Hokkaido – which they actually are – and “nexus” is considered the theme song for the novel.
ClariS’s first two singles provided the opening theme songs for anime Oreimo (“irony”) and Puella Magi Madoka Magica (“Connect”). The duo will even get a set of Petit Nendoroid figures from Good Smile Company based on art work for “irony” X Oreimo and set for a late January 2012 release.
