Jin Akanishi’s new single “Seasons” has been announced for release on December 28 and he will hold a fan appreciation event at the Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa on January 7, 2012. More details on the single follow,
Since “Eternal” was released in March in been 10 months and for fans the await for a new single from Jin Akanishi is nearly over with the word that “Seasons” will be released December 28th. The single will come in two editions, a CD only and a Limited edition with bonus DVD of music video for the title track as well as an off-shoot video for “Seasons.”
Additionally the Limited edition will have 4 different cover jackets, each representing a ‘season’ – according to CD Japan the Limited edition will ship randomly so you won’t be able to choose the cover jacket (may only affect online purchasers?).
Akanishi commented on the new song “no matter what the season, the ‘someone special’ doesn’t change. In other words, it’s a Love song but not just for lovers but for men and women, for those you cherish, family and friends. It’s a poem about love for all things.”
Also announced fan appreciation event for Yokohama Arena on January 7th will require tickets available to purchasers of either edition of the new mini album “TEST DRIVE featuring JASON DERULO” set for release in Japan December 7th. There are plans for a similcast of the event to fans in Los Angeles but no details available yet.
