She’s back….. After some delays the anticipated streaming of “Shakugan no Shana III – FINAL –” (Shana III) on NicoNico x Funimation anime site has started. The first 4 episodes are available now – episode 1 “A Lost Being,” episode 2 “That Which Comes,” episode 3 “To Embark Upon a New Journey,” and episode 4 “Reunions and Chance Meetings” are now available to registered users.
The NicoNico anime site is streaming a full 6 of the Fall shows after a few delays. Besides Shana III you can watch C3, Future Diary, Maken_Ki!, Guilty Crown, Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-.
Shana III is continuation of the Shakugan no Shana series. Season one aired in 2005 and has been available on DVD though basically out of print now. Season two aired 2007 and OVA 2009 neither of which has been licensed for United States release.
The opening theme is composed/arranged by ryo (supercell) and sung by KOTOKO who also performed the second ending theme for season one, the second opening for season two, and the second ending theme for season two. Ryo is also involved with the music production for Fall anime Guilty Crown.
