Shokotan over came a bout of viral gastroenteritis as she prepared for the 2-day live “Shoko☆Cover Fes.2011 in NAKAGAWA BROADWAY” to captivate fans with spectacular performances. Held on December 19th & 20th, Shoko Nakagawa (Shokotan) covered SPEED, Pink Lady, Morning Musume, and others plus she was joined by Meg rock to sing a few duets.

The concerts where held in Nakano which has the famous “Nakano Broadway” full of shops with otaku anime and gamer goodies and the inspiration for the concert’s title. Shokotan has put out a number of anime cover albums over the years and this past October released “Cover 4-1 Shoko Doru Hen (idol ed.)” & “Cover 4-2 Shoko Rock Hen (rock ed.)” from which most of the concert set list was pulled.
Shokotan treated the fans to 6 costumes ranging from a leopard print dress and long pink jacket to a kawaii Santa skirt with a big white hat. Check them all out in the photos below.
