Rock band ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION has announced “Landmark”, their first original album in over 2 years. The album is announced to come in three editions and scheduled to hit stores September 12th. The band also announced a national tour of Japan in support of the new album that starts October 12th in Kanagawa Prefecture and ends December 21 back in Kanagawa Prefecture. ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION also known as Ajikan or AKG is also releasing a new single on July 25th – “Soredewa, Mata Ashita” – which is featured as the theme song for the new Naruto movie "“NARUTO the Movie: Road to Ninja”. More details on their single release and movie trailer are posted here.
Earlier this year Ajikan released a compilation album of greatest hits – “BEST HIT AKG” that charted #1 its opening week on the Oricon album charts.
