Voice actress Eri Kitamura has announced her first album “RE; STORY” which includes three previously released singles including one coupling track and nine new songs for a total of 13 tracks. The album is offered in two editions and set for release on July 25th. More release details follow.
Eri Kitamura is a popular seiyuu (voice actress) and also has provided anime theme songs since her solo debut in 2004. She has released a number of anime character songs or theme songs with other cast members. Of her eight solo singles, all but one is tied to anime or game. She signed with Starchild (King Records) in 2011 and since August has released 3 singles tied to anime that she is also stars in.
She provided “Be Starters!” featured as opening theme for Mayo Chiki!, “Shirushi” used as ending theme and special opening theme for C3, and “Happy Girl” featured as opening theme for Listen to me, girls. I am your father!.
Kitamura has voice too many notable characters to list all but here are just a few: Karen Araragi (Bakemonogatari / Nisemonogatari), Saya Otonashi (Blood+), Izumo Kamkik (Blue Exorcist), and Yachiyo Todoroki (Wagnaria!!). She is currently voicing Spring anime characters Mahiro Yasaka (Nyarko-san) and Kirie Kanoe (Dusk Maiden of Amnesia).
Her first album “RE; STORY” is offered in two editions:
– Limited that comes with bonus photo booklet and special packaging.
– Regular CD-only.
