Mobile Suit Gundam SEED is being re-released in a remastered HD and 16:9 format box set on region-free Blu-ray and with English subtitles. The first box set of episodes 1-12 on three disks was released March 23th and the second box set of episodes 13-25 on three disks is set for release on June 22nd. The both box sets are available in two editions: a Limited with special box jacket illustrated by series character designer Hisashi Hirai and mech designer Satoshi Shigeta, a 52p booklet, and special BD features anime music clip, textless opening theme, and audio commentary from the series director, staff, and cast; and a Regular with 16p booklet and the audio commentary track by the anime staff.
The first box set Limited edition includes textless opening theme by T.M.Revolution “Invoke” and ending theme by See-Saw “Anna ni Isshodattanoni”. The second box set Limited edition includes textless opening theme by Vivian or Kazuma “Moment” and an anime music clip “director’s vision”.
The Blu-ray is region free and includes English subtitles.
