LiSA has announced her 2nd solo single “crossing field” which will be featured as opening theme for summer anime Sword Art Online. The new single will come in three editions and is set for release on August 8th. The anime is an A-1 Pictures production and will begin airing July 7th. More details on both include a preview video for the anime follow.
LiSA provided the vocals for several of the songs attributed to the fictional group “Girls Dead Monster” from anime Angel Beats before releasing her first single “oath sign” which was featured as the opening theme for anime “Fate/Zero”.
You can catch LiSA live at a pair of performances in Japan – June 25th at Zepp Namba and June 27th at Zepp Nagoya. She will also be in the USA at Anime Expo in Los Angeles July 1st for a live performance.
Anime Sword Art Online places the characters inside an online virtual reality game where they are trapped and fighting to end the game to free themselves. The anime begins July 7th in Japan on station Tokyo MX – unknown yet if it will be streamed outside of Japan. Video preview follows after the single release details.
Single “crossing field” is offered in three editions:
– Limited with bonus DVD that includes music video for title track and deluxe lyrics/photo booklet.
– Limited Pressing (available until October 31st) anime themed cover art with bonus DVD that includes the anime OP versions of the title track, different coupling track, bonus TV-size version of title track, and mini-poster of anime themed jacket cover.
– Regular CD-only.
First Press versions add an A3 sized photo that will differ depending on where you order your copy of the single.
