Singer/voice actress Minori Chihara has announced a greatest hits album of best coupling or b-side songs. The songs will be from studio and live recordings and the release comes on one Regular CD-only edition. Other details and official album title are still undecided. Most recently Minori Chihara released single “SELF PRODUCER” with 4 tracks that all have a tie-in including the title track featured as opening theme for anime Onii-chan Dakedo ai sae Areba Kankei nai yo. The single hit stores October 24th – more details available in an earlier report.
She also released a pair of live events on both DVD/Blu-ray – “Live 2012 ULTRA-Formation” & “Live 2012 PARTY-Formation”. These captured her special live events at Messe Makuhara Event Hall June 16th & 17th 2012. These both hit stores November 14th – more details here.
Minori Chihara is providing her own vocals on a classically arranged cover album “Unification3” by instrumental strings unit Crustacea. As the title implies its this unit’s third cover album of Minori Chihara songs – the previous two were purely instrumental. The album hits stores December 26th – more details here.
Minori Chihara’s b-side compilation album will feature songs selected from her releases with Lantis since she joined that label in 2007. All but one of her 18 singles and 5 of her 6 albums are with Lantis.
