no3b (No Sleeves) updated the release details for their new single titled “Kirigirisu-jin” (キリギリス人) – cover jackets and full track lists are revealed. The single comes on 4 editions and its scheduled to hit stores January 16th 2013. Read on for the update release details.
Single “Kirigirisu-jin” is their 9th single and first since the AKB48 sub-unit released their 8th single “Pedicure Day” back on December 28th 2011. no3b did not release a single in 2012.
no3b or No Sleeves is a sub-unit of AKB48 featuring popular members Kojima Haruna (24), Takahashi Minami (21), Minegishi Minami (20). All three idols are one of the 24 founding members of what was a fledgling idol group AKB48 (2005). Kojima Haruna previously was the only member to participate on the main song of all of the AKB48 singles but failed to pass the recent 3rd Janken tournament and isn’t in the main unit for the upcoming 29th single “Eien Pressure”. As one of the group leaders Takahashi Minami has performed in the main unit on nearly all of the AKB48 singles and after being captain of Team A since 2009 she now has the title of General Director covering AKB48 and all sister groups.
Single “Kirigirisu-jin” comes on four editions,
– Limited A Takahashi Minami themed with bonus DVD that includes music videos for title track and main coupling track plus bonus footage with Takahashi Minami, includes coupling track A and application card for event.
– Limited B Kojima Haruna themed with bonus DVD that includes music videos for title track and main coupling track plus bonus footage with Kojima Haruna, includes coupling track B and application card for event.
– Limited C Minegishi Minami themed with bonus DVD includes music videos for title track and main coupling track plus bonus footage with Minegishi Minami, includes coupling track C and application card for event.
– Regular CD-only with main coupling track, First Press version adds photo.
On November 18th no3b held a special event to shoot the new single’s music video. Selected fans could attend by purchasing the Regular edition via the Sony Music Japan Shop site and complete an application period.
No details yet on the special event tied to the included application card with the Limited editions.
