SHINee has announced their new song “Sherlock” will be released as a Japanese single, with the title track using Japanese lyrics. The Korean group’s new dance tune was released as 7 track mini-album in Korean on March 26th and available now as an import in Japan. The Japanese single version includes a new original Japanese song as the coupling track and its release date is set for May 16th. More details plus a video message from the group follow,
The single will come in two editions – a Limited with bonus DVD that includes a Japanese version of the music video for “Sherlock” plus footage from their cover jacket shoot and making-of the music video, a 28pg photo booklet, trading card (1 of 11), and special 3D packaging. The other edition is a Regular CD-only edition with extras including a poster photo booklet and poster.
The First Press edition of the Regular edition comes with different cover jacket plus the trading card (1 of 11) and flyer. Both editions offer First Press purchasers a “Sherlock” original fan (limited supplies).
Other bonuses include entry tickets for Meet & Greet at a tour stop on the “SHINee THE FIRST JAPAN ARENA TOUR ~SHINee WORLD 2012~” and to be 1 of 50 to get a SHINee Sherlock Special Goods Set.
