STEREOPONY announced their 11th single “stand by me” which will be featured as the ending theme for much anticipated Spring anime EUREKA SEVEN AO. The single is set for release on May 30th and will come in three editions, a Limited with bonus DVD, a Regular CD-only, and a Limited Pressing anime edition. The band is also currently in the USA at anime convention Sakura-Con in Seattle, Washington. STEREOPONY isn’t unfamiliar with providing song tie-ins to anime – their songs have be used in anime BLEACH, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Darker then Black (season 2), and Tegami Bachi Reverse.
The anime EUREKA SEVEN AO is the sequel to the very popular 2005 anime EUREKA SEVEN and is planned for 12 episodes currently. It will air on MBS starting April 12th and is unlikely to be streamed free outside of Japan.
The Limited Pressing anime edition of “stand by me” will have special packaging with anime theme and bonus track of the TV size version of the title track. This version will only be available until June 30 or until sold-out.
