Tada Hiroshi has officially announced release details for his debut solo single “Wild Card” which will be featured as theme song for TV Asahi series Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes. Tada Hiroshi is better known currently for lead vocals/bass for band The Sketchbook. Band The Sketchbook was formed about 1 year ago around the anime SKET DANCE which has just aired its 77th and at least for now final episode. What the future will be for the band hasn’t been announced.
Nearly all of the band’s previous songs were tied to the anime as opening theme, closing theme, or insert songs. They have been promoting their quickly released 2nd album “Re:Action” as a reflection of how they want to grow as a band beyond their beginnings attached to the anime. More details on this album which along with their 5th single “Clear” released together just a day ago on September 26th.
The Sketchbook will hold a live event to commemorate their 1-year anniversary this Friday September 28th 6:00pm at Shibuya Eggman. The event is promoted as “Sketchbook ~Minna de Kaku Mirai noe~ (Draw a picture of the future together).
Single “Wild Card” comes in two editions that share the same CD track list, tentatively set for 4 songs,
– Limited with bonus DVD that includes music video and additional footage (tentative). First Press version adds bonus poster.
