The WEATHER GIRLS have officially announced their Japanese debut single “Koi no Tenki Yoho” (Weather Forecast of Love). The single is produced by Jeff Miyahara and is said to be an up-beat pop tune full of moe moe kyun. “Koi no Tenki Yoho” is offered in two editions and scheduled to hit stores October 17th. The WEATHER GIRLS based in Taiwan have been an Internet sensation since 2010 bring their cute, dancing daily weather forecasts on Taiwanese news network NMA TV and Next TV. Featured members deliver each days’ weather speaking their best Japanese as a voice over with several of other members doing a dance routine. One member is featured each day to deliver the short message as the weather for major cities in Taiwan or the United States flashes by.
The girls have been using their Facebook page and hinting at becoming a full singing idol group for the past few months and recently signed up with Japanese record label PonyCanyon. This past month the girls revealed a new website and a YouTube video giving a hint of their debut single and offshoot footage for the music video.

Their debut Japanese single “Koi no Tenki Yoho” comes in two editions that share the same CD track list,
