Performance unit 9nine has announced their 11th single (untitled) with tie-in as the opening theme song for Fuji TV drama Legal High season two. Their new single comes on five editions scheduled to hit stores November 20th 2013 – read on for more early details…

9nine released their 10th single “Evolution No.9” with tie-in as the theme song for TBS/MBS TV drama Tank Top Fighter staring Erena Ono (ex-AKB48) and supporting roll by member Kawashima Umika. Single “Evolution No.9” hit stores June 12th 2013 (more details). Fans showed good support pushing the single to #11 on the weekly Oricon charts.
The group also released their 2nd album “CUE” on March 13th 2013. The album includes tracks from 4 singles plus new songs for 13 total tracks. Included on the album is their 9th single “colorful” (2013.02.06) with tie-in as the main theme song for anime movie Star Driver THE MOVIE and 8th single “White Wishes” (2012.12.12) that was featured as the ending theme for anime My Little Monster (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun).
Fuji TV drama Legal High is a law drama that stars Sakai Masato and Aragaki Yui. The show’s first season aired in 2012 and the second season begins airing October 9th 2013. More details at official website (link below).
