9nine recently announced their first single of 2014, With You / With Me featured as the next ending theme for ongoing anime Magi – The Kingdom of Magic. Performance unit 9nine most recently released their 11th single Re: with tie-up as the opening theme for Fuji TV drama Legal High season two. Fans pushed single Re: up to #6 on the weekly Oricon charts.
Member news: Sataki Uki (upper right) gets her first regular voice acting roll as QT, a robot vacuum cleaner, on highly anticipated anime Space Dandy. The anime is directed by Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy BeBop) and produced by BONES. It will have a world-wide TV release scheduled to begin airing January 5th 2014 on Tokyo MX and an on-air English-dub simulcast starting January 4th 11:30pm on Cartoon Network Adult Swim / Toonami in North America.
Anime Magi – The Kingdom of Magic continues as the second season of anime Magi – The Labyrinth of Magic that aired 25 episodes October 2012 – April 2013. The anime is adapted from manga by Shinobu Ohtaka and takes characters from and a re-telling of the Arabian Nights stories.
The anime features Ishihara Kaori as Aladden, and Yuuki Kaji as Alibaba, and Haruka Tomatsu as Morgana. Anime Magi – The Kingdom of Magic began airing in Japan October 6th 2013 on MBS TV and TBS TV. Outside of Japan the anime is simulcast on provider Crunchyroll – check our Crunchyroll updates page or hit the link for Magi – The Labyrinth of Magic for all episodes and related stories.
The anime’s new opening theme will be provided by visual kei band ViViD with their 17th single Hikari – (full details coming..)
