AKB48 recently added the title and more details for their 32nd single “Koisuru Fortune Cookie” that’s tied to their 5th General Election. The General Election (fan voted) selected 64 members to participate on the title track and coupling songs for the new single. AKB held their 5th General Election that included 230+ idols from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, JKT48, and SNH48 at Nissan Stadium June 8th 2013. Besides learning who the top 64 members as selected by fan voting perhaps the biggest news to come out of it was the graduation announcement of founding member and 5th placed Shinoda Mariko (now set for July 22nd). The other big news was the jump by last year’s 4th place Sashihara Rino (HKT48) into the #1 or Center position (more details).
The top 16 elected members participate on the title song “Koisuru Fortune Cookie”.

Their 32nd single comes on 3-pairs of editions with the Limited editions adding a handshake event ticket (1 of 2). The CD’s are all planned to have 3 new songs and the matching Karaoke tracks (types I, II, III coupling tracks differ). All editions include DVD with music videos and additional footage planned (types I, II, III videos and additional footage differ).
