ALI PROJECT is getting ready to release new album “Reijou Bara Zukan” (Reijyo Bara Zukan) with 10 new songs. In addition to the title track the album features song “Kuroyuri Onmitsu Kagekidan” with tie-in as the ending theme during September for Nippon TV show Tokui to Goto to Uruwashi no SHELLY ga Konya Kurabete Mimashita. Album “Reijou Bara Zukan” comes on one edition that hits stores September 11th 2013 – more details and preview music video follow.
ALI PROJECT most recently released their 22nd single “Watashi no Bara wo Kaminasai” (2013.07.24) with tie-in as the opening theme for the remake of anime Rozen Maiden. The group renews their connection with the anime having provided the opening theme songs for the original two seasons and OVA.
Earlier this year ALI PROJECT released their greatest hits album “KAIKAI KIKI ALI PROJECT Ventennale Music, Art Exhibition” on February 20th 2013. The album celebrates their 20th anniversary (1992-2012) and comes on 2-CDs with 31 of their greatest hits plus new song “Kaikai Kiki” for a total of 32 tracks (more details).
ALI PROJECT consists of Takarano Arika (vocals, lyrics) and Katakura Mikiya (composition, arrangement). They debuted in 1992 with single “Koi seyo otome” and have many songs with tie-ups as anime and game themes. The duo’s unique style combines visual-Kei, neo-classical, and Japanese Aristocrat-fashion with songs having a mix of pop-rock and classical arrangements.
Their new album “Reijou Bara Zukan” is their 19th original album and 27th overall comes on one Regular CD-only edition. ALI PROJECT will hold several release events of a talk and handshake meeting connected to target store of purchase,
