fripSide is preparing to release their 7th single “eternal reality” with tie-in as the second opening theme for anime TV series A Certain Scientific Railgun S (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S). fripSide reformed in 2009 with singer Nanjo Yoshino joining producer Satoshi Yaginuma after original singer Nao left to pursue a solo career. Since then the group has released 7 singles (including this title) with 6 tied to anime/game A Certain Scientific Railgun and the other (4th single) tied to the anime movie from Hayate no Gotoku! (Hayate Combat Butler).
Their 6th single “sister’s noise” (2013.05.08) featured as the first opening theme for the A Certain Scientific Railgun S the sequel to the original series A Certain Scientific Railgun (2009). The group picked a good release week for the single getting a #1 charting on Oricon for the first time.
The second season of A Certain Scientific Railgun (“S”) began airing April 12th 2013 and is available outside of Japan over at Funimation.com.
