Luna Haruna is getting ready to release new single snowdrop – jacket covers, full track list, and bonus details all revealed. Its her 5th single and it includes snowdrop (Luna Haruna x Marina Kawano ver.) featured as an ending theme for anime TV series Monogatari Series Second Season. Single snowdrop comes on two editions that hit stores December 11th 2013 – updated details and more follow.
Single snowdrop also includes coupling track TRUE STORY featured as the theme song for PS3/Vita game AKIBA’S TRIP 2 plus additional coupling track Shinkai uka no Rhapsody with lyrics written by Luna Haruna. The single continues Luna Haruna’s connection with the Monogatari Series Second Season anime – her 4th single Ai wo Utae (2013.07.24) is featured as an ending theme.
Most recently Luna Haruna released her first album OVERSKY on August 21st 2013. The album includes her four singles, Kimi ga Kureta Sekai,Sora wa Takaky Kaze wa Utau, Overfly, and Ai wo Utae, plus more for 12 total tracks (more details).
Model, singer, and actress Luna Haruna who just turned 22 on October 11th, modeled for magazine KERA before announcing her presence as a singer when she was a finalist in the 4th Anison Grand Prix. Her debut song Sora wa Takaky Kaze wa Utau (2012.05.02) was a collaboration with Yuki Kajiura and was featured as the ending theme for anime Fate/Zero season 2. Her 2nd single Overfly has tie-in as the ending theme for the second half of popular anime Sword Art Online.
Anime Monogatari Series Second Season continues the story of the popular Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, and Nekomonogatari (prequel) anime TV series all adapted from light novel series by NisiOisin.
Anime Monogatari began airing in Japan July 6th 2013 on Tokyo MX. Outside of Japan Aniplex USA has licensed the new season which will stream same day via DAISUKI.NET (the new Japanese Animation distribution site sponsored by TOEI, Aniplex, Sunrise, and others). Streaming site Crunchyroll.com has Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari series and Monogatari Series Second Season airs episodes on a one month delay beginning August 6th 2013.
