Ray has updated the release details for her 4th single “lull ~ Soshite Bokura wa ~” – jacket covers, full track list, and teaser music video TV CM spot revealed. The single’s title track, with lyrics by Mami Kawada, gets tie-in as the opening theme for new anime Nagi no Asukara. Single “lull ~ Soshite Bokura wa ~” comes on three editions that hit stores October 30th 2013. Updated details and teaser music video follow.
Ray debuted a bit less than two years ago with single “sign” (2012.02) featured as the opening theme for anime Ano Natsu de Matteru. Her second single “Rakuen PROJECT” (2012.10.24) was used as opening theme for anime To Love-Ru Darkness and her third single “Recall” (2013.02.06) featured as ending theme for anime AMNESIA. Most recently Ray released her first album “RAYVE” (2013.06.05) that includes her three singles and more for 13 total tracks.
Upcoming solo live “RAYVE 02” is set for December 29th 2013 at Club Quattro Shibuya – more details and ticket availability at Ray’s official website (link below).
Anime Nagi no Asukara is an original project from studio P.A. WORKS and publisher Dengeki Daioh. It stars Kana Hanazawa as Manaka Mukaido as a timid middle school girl has she navigates life with her close friends.
The anime started airing October 3rd 2013 on Tokyo MX in Japan. Outside of Japan Crunchyroll has just announced they’ll be simulcasting (dates and times not yet announced). Check our Crunchyroll updates page or hit the link for Nagi no Asukara for episodes and related stories.
Providing the anime’s ending theme is Nagi Yanagi with her 6th solo single “Aqua Terrarium” (more details). It’s the third time that Ray and Nagi Yanagi have teamed up to provide theme songs for an anime. Interestingly both made their solo debuts providing the theme songs for 2012 anime Ano Natsu de Matteru.
