ZAQ is getting ready to release new single “Gekijo Ron” – full track list and jacket covers were recently revealed. Her 3rd single is featured as the second opening theme for TV anime series High School DxD NEW. Beginning with episode 7 the anime will take on a new storyline High School DxD NEW ~ Vampire of the Suspended Classroom ~ and switch opening theme songs. Single “Gekijo Ron” is available on two editions that hit stores August 21st 2013 – updated details and preview music video follow.
Singer/songwriter ZAQ released her 2nd single “Alteration” (2013.01.23) with tie-in as the opening theme for upcoming anime Sasami-san@Ganbaranai. ZAQ’s debut single “Sparkling Daydream” was featured as OP for fall 2012 anime Chunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai! (Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions). In addition to providing the opening theme ZAQ contributed 4 insert songs for the anime series. All songs are written, arranged, and performed by ZAQ.
Anime High School DxD NEW is the second season of the anime adapted from ongoing light novel series by Ichiei Ishibumi. The story centers around Issei Hyodo a bit of a pervert and not so smart high school student who is killed while on his first ever date. Issei is reincarnated as a demon serving his master demon Riasu who is also the prettiest girl at school.
The first part of season two, High School DxD NEW ~ Excalibur of the Moonlit Schoolyard ~, starts with a story of shattered and reforged Excalibur swords that have appeared at school and else where around their town. At episode 7 the story will shift to vampires, High School DxD NEW ~ Vampire of the Suspended Classroom ~. As with the first season expect lots of fan-service harem ecchi action. The anime began airing in Japan on AT-X July 7th 2013 and along with the first season its available at Funimation.com.
Song “Gekijo Ron” takes over as theme song with episode #7 scheduled to air August 16th. Group Larval Stage Planning has been providing the first opening theme with their 3rd single “Sympathy” (2013.07.17). The group also provided the opening theme for the full first season of High School DxD anime with single “Trip ~innocent of D ~” (2012.01.25).
ZAQ’s 3rd single “Gekijo Ron” (Passion Theory) comes on two editions,
