angela has been closely tied to the original TV series for Anime K providing the main opening theme KINGS as well as final episode opening To be with U! and insert song Itsuka no Zero Kara.
Most recently angela released single Sidonia (シドニア) with tie-up as the opening theme for anime Knights of Sidonia. They also released their 2nd greatest hits compilation album TREASURE BOX II that contains 15 tracks including Spiral (2009, OP Asura Cryin’), Beautiful Fighter (2008, OP Shikabane Hime), KINGS (2012, OP anime K), and more. Both released May 21st 2014.
Anime K is an original anime from studio GoHands studio and GoRA writers collective that follows the story of Yashiro “Shiro” Isana who attends Ashinaka High School which is build on an island. The school has 7 “Kings” with psychic powers and through no fault of his own Shiro finds himself in the middle of a war between the Kings.
The original anime TV series ran 13 episodes beginning October 4th 2012. The new movie K MISSING KINGS continues the story and hits theaters July 12th 2014. More details at official website(s) (links below).
