Anime OVA Mitsuwano (みツわの) has updated release details – jacket covers and more unveiled. Voice actress and singer Yui Horie provides the anime’s theme song Kono Basho de (この場所で) and voices main character Mai Ichinose. Anime Mitsuwano releases on Blu-ray and DVD with both versions including a bonus CD with theme song and full sound track. Popular voice actress and singer Yui Horie is also getting ready to release her 17th single The♡World’s♡End also on March 12th 2014. The single’s title track is OP2 for anime anime GOLDEN TIME and coupling track Haneikyu-teki ni Aishite yo♡ is featured as the anime’s second ending theme. Anime OVA Mitsuwano is adapted from light novel series by Itsuki Matsumoto. The story follows young girls, Mai Ichinose (Yui Horie), Midori Aikawa (Rina Satou), and Riko Kikuzuki (Nozomi Sasaki) who dream of becoming makio, or apprentice geisha.
The 29-minute anime from studio ZECXS is planned for direct release on Blu-ray and DVD March 12th 2014. The light novels are published via Kodansha x Startchild e-magazine BOX-AiR (link below). The Mitsuwano series won their 2012 Rookie of the Year Award and is getting the anime adaptation and print novels also published (March 3rd).
Two special viewing events tied to the release have been announced. Cast members will attend and discuss anime Mitsuwano. Tickets are available only via lottery with both editions of the release including the application postcard – submission deadline March 31st 2014,
