DiVA announced they will release a 4th single (untitled) and a planned album as part of the unit’s final activities. The AKB48 unit members all return for DiVA’s dissolution: Miyazawa Sae (SNH48/SKE48), Umeda Ayaka (NMB48), Akimoto Sayaka (graduated), Masuda Yuka (graduated). DiVA last released their 3rd single Lost The Way on March 21st 2012 (more details). For that single six members (non-AKB48) were added (Kasuya Satoko, Futami Yuki, Furukawa Atsuko, Fukuno Ramu, Inoue Yuina, and Yamagami Ayaka).
Since their last single the unit has made a few appearances and released music video cover of 1990’s hit song WOW WAR TONIGHT ~ Tokiniha Okoseyo Movement ~ for the UULA mobile video service March 13th 2014. The music video includes all members except Masuda Yuka who had left AKB48 under some controversy December 2012.
The AKB members were together on August 13th 2014 to help Miyazawa Sae celebrate her 24th birthday – Akimoto Sayaka as Vegeta plus an alien version of Oshima Yuko made an appearance,
Earlier the re-united unit was having their first dance practice in a long time,
DiVA’s final single comes on three Limited editions plus a mu-mo exclusive Regular edition (details subject to change). The track lists differ on all editions. Limited edition First Press include one half special live event ticket (second half included with planned album). Regular mu-mo edition includes handshake participation ticket.
