Kana Hanazawa is celebrating her upcoming 25th birthday with the release of her 2nd album “25”. The double-CD album has 25 total tracks including her 5th single Koisuru Wakusei (恋する惑星) plus lots of new songs – four with lyrics written by Kana Hanazawa. Popular voice actress and singer Kana Hanazawa (24) has her 25th birthday on February 25th 2014 (ed. 25 is her special number!). She only made her solo singing debut less than 2 years ago and released her first full-length album claire one year ago on February 20th 2013 (more details). Most recently Kana Hanazawa released her 5th solo single Koisuru Wakusei on Christmas Day December 25th 2013 (more details).
She also recently released anime character single Meiwaku Spectacle with tie-up as the opening theme for anime Tonari no Seki-kun on January 22nd 2014. In addition to providing the opening theme Kana Hanazawa voices main character Yokoi Rumi in the anime’s 10-minute episodes.
For album “25” a special release event is planned as talk and mini-live on June 8th 2014 3:30pm at Yakult Hall Tokyo. Participation via lottery with ticket application card included with the new album (submission deadline March 16th 2014).
Kana Hanazawa’s 2nd album “25” comes on two double-CD editions,
