Konomi Suzuki (鈴木このみ) revealed her new single Ginsen no Kaze (銀閃の風) with tie-up as the opening theme for upcoming anime Madan no O to Vanadis (魔弾の王と戦姫). The title song is described as powerful symphonic rock tune and main coupling song will be a ballad tune. Singer and songwriter Konomi Suzuki (17) most recently released 6th single This game on May 21st 2014 with tie-up as the opening theme for anime No Game No Life. Previously she released her first album “17” (2014.02.26) with her first 5 singles and more (full details).
Konomi Suzuki won the 5th Animax All-Japan Anison Grand Prix in 2011 and debuted with single CHOIR JAIL (2012.04.25) featured as opening theme for anime Dusk Maiden of Amnesia.
Along with many of the voice cast of anime Madan no O to Vanadis, Konomi Suzuki will appear at the anime’s sneak peak event September 20th 2014 at 3:30pm & 6:00pm at United Toyosu Cinema LaLaport. The event will show (a peak) episodes 1 & 2, talk, and mini-live of opening and ending themes (link below).
Anime Madan no O to Vanadis, adapted from light novel series by Kawaguchi Tsukasa, follows “Vanadis” – beautiful girls who ride into battle with weapons received from dragons. Seven territories are each ruled and protected by a Vandais. The story begins as a young noble from a neighboring kingdom named Tigrevurmund “Tigre” encounters Vanadis Eleonora. After being defeated in a fierce battle Tigre instead of being killed is taken prisoner.
The anime features a strong voice cast including Haruka Tomatsu in the lead roll of Eleonora “Ellen” Viltaria and Ishikawa Kaito as Tigrevurmund. Supporting rolls include Yu Kobayashi (Elizavetta), Uesaka Sumire (Titta), and Hitomi Harada (Valentina). Broadcast begins October 4th 2014 on Tokyo MX and MBS TV in Japan.
In addition to voicing a character in the anime Hitomi Harada provides the ending theme (untitled) with her 8th single(more details).
