Nagi Yanagi (やなぎなぎ) has revealed coupling track Wasurenai Tame ni (忘れない為に) included on her 8th single Tokohana (トコハナ). The coupling track is written and composed by Nagi Yanagi. The single’s title song has tie-up as the main ending theme for anime Black Bullet and the coupling track will be used as a special ending theme. The single’s other coupling track Crossroad is written by Makoto Shinkai and is the theme song for animated student support video produced by Shinkai for the Z-KAI education corporation. Watch the full 2-minute version released February 25th 2014 below the release details.
Anime Black Bullet, adapted from light novels by Kanzaki Shiden, is set in the near future after a parasitic virus Gastrea has devastated mankind and forced those that remain behind metal walled cities. Select female children are born infected with the virus – as “cursed children” they have super-human powers. Special security groups have formed teams to fight the Gastrea with an Initiator (cursed children) and a Promoter who leads the Initiators. High school student Satomi Rentaro a young Promoter is coupled cursed Aihara Enju and are set on a mission to prevent Tokyo’s destruction. Rentaro isn’t quite what he seems to be and he begins to uncover the truth of the Gastrea and cursed childern.
