Nana Mizuki revealed details for new single Kindan no Resistance (禁断のレジスタンス) – full track list, jacket cover, and more unveiled. Her 30th single has tie-up as the opening theme for upcoming anime CROSS ANGE: Tenshi to Ryu no Rondo. The single’s coupling track BLUE also gets a tie-up as the ending theme for Space Battleship Yamato 2199 theatrical compilation version. Nana Mizuki also voices main character Princess Angelize “Ange” in the original anime from Sunrise Studios.
Popular voice actor and singer Nana Mizuki most recently released her 10th original album SUPERNAL LIBERTY on April 16th 2014. The album includes her 29th single Vitalization (2013.07.31) used as the opening theme for anime Symphogear G and its coupling track Ai no Hoshi with tie-up as the ending theme #7 for anime OVA/TV series Space Battleship Yamato 2199.
Original anime CROSS ANGE: Tenshi to Ryu no Rondo (クロスアンジュ 天使と竜の輪舞) is a new project from Sunrise Studios. The mech-anime with mostly all female cast is set in a future world were humanity has obtained “mana” a power similar to magic. With this power a utopia has formed with peace and no wants. Princess Angelize “Ange” who is set to be the new leader of the Misurugi Empire learns that she is a Norma, someone who can’t use mana and becomes an outcast. She is sent to a remote island were she meets a group of normal girls who battle in mechanized robot weapons. The group is protecting the world from an invasion of giant creatures from another dimension.
An all-star cast includes Nana Mizuki in lead roll of Princess Ange, and featuring Eri Kitamura (Salia),Tamura Yukari (Hilda), Ogura Yui (Chris), Uesaka Sumire (Momoka), Ishihara Kaori (Rosalie), Mamoru Miyano (Tasuku) and Yui Horie (Sara). Anime CROSS ANGE airs starting October 2014 in Japan on MBS and Tokyo MX – no announcements yet on availability outside of Japan.
The anime’s ending theme is provided by Eri Kitamura with her 7th single RinRei (凛麗) (more details).
Single Kindan no Resistance comes on one CD-only edition with Nana Mizuki writing the lyrics for all songs. A First Press version adding deluxe packaging.
