AKB48 tops the 2014 annual album rankings with their 5th album Tsugi no Ashiato selling over 1,041,000 copies. The album, in addition to containing their singles and many new songs, is tied to member 2-shot photo events. Landing at #2 is the ultra popular animated movie FROZEN (Anna and the Snow Queen) sound track album that charted in the top 10 for an amazing 24 straight weeks.
