Its their first original album in over two years and includes singles Happy Birthday (2013.09.16) and just released About A Rock’n’Roll Band (2014.09.19) plus new songs for 11 total tracks. Rock band the pillows originally formed September 16th 1989 and over the past year have celebrated their 25th anniversary NEVER ENDING STORY. As part of the final festivities they are releasing 36th single About A Rock’n’Roll Band on September 17th 2014 (more details).
The band’s special 25th anniversary live NEVER ENDING STORY “DON’T FORGET TODAY!” will be held October 4th 2014 5:00pm at Tokyo Dome City Hall and culminates 10 live events since the start of 2014 as part of their celebration.
To support the new album a new live tour – moondust – launches November 30th 2014 at LIGHT HOUSE, Mito. and hits clubs and venues all across Japan with final performances March 28th 2015 at Zepp Tokyo. More details at their website (link below).
