The Sketchbook revealed their 11th single REASON with tie-up as the opening theme song for short anime Chain Chronicle. Plus the coupling track Arrive gets tie-up as the anime’s ending theme and CM song for game version Chain Chronicle ~ Kizuna no Shintairiku ~. Band The Sketchbook just released single We Will Survive on August 27th 2014. Their 10th single has tie-up as the second ending theme for kids anime Gaist Crusher.
The Sketchbook was formed originally around the anime SKET DANCE which ended its run of 77 episodes in September 2012. Their first 5 singles and 11 total songs had tie-ups with the anime as opening and ending themes plus insert songs.
Anime Chain Chronicle, adapted from popular smartphone fantasy RPG game from Sega, is planned for 8 x 5 minute episodes with limited distribution.
The episodes will show at selected theaters in Japan starting September 6th 2014. Trailer video follows after the release details.
Single REASON comes on two editions. Limited and Regular First Press include code for special character release (1 of 2) in smartphone game (“Yamaneko no Tsukai Rinse” SSR or “Niryo no Senki Yoshikage” SR) or PS Vita (“Heibonnaru Meidoeremia” SR).
