Uesaka Sumire 4th single and live BD/DVD announced, release details

Uesaka Sumire (上坂すみれ) officially announced a new single, (Kitare! Akatsuki no Doushi), and a simultaneous video release of her Nakano Sun Plaza February 11th 2014 event Daiichikai Kawa Buro Soukekki Shuukai. Her 4th single comes on two editions and the live event comes on Blu-ray or DVD editions – all scheduled for release on July 16th 2014. Read on for more details and pre-order…

Voice actress and singer Uesaka Sumire (22) most recently released single Parallax View on March 5th 2014 (more details). Her 3rd single has tie-up as the ending theme for Hozuki no Reitetsu (鬼灯の冷徹) plus Uesaka Sumire voices supporting character Peach Maki in the dark comedy anime.

Uesaka Sumire began in 2011 voicing minor characters until she landed the lead roll in anime Muromi-san (2013). She also made her singing debut providing the opening theme song for Muromi-san with single Nanatsu no Umi Yori Kimi no Umi (2013.04.24). Uesaka Sumire is also known for her love of Russian culture from an early age and her songs and music video show this influence.

She release her first album Kakumei Teki Broadway Shugisha Doumei (革命的ブロードウェイ主義者同盟) on January 8th 2014 (more details).

Uesaka Sumire’s 4th single (Kitare! Akatsuki no Doushi) comes on two editions (details subject to change). Both editions include flyer for live event ticket lottery purchase plus serial number for goods award lottery. The awards lottery isn’t detailed yet but tied to serial numbers from both the 4th single and live DVD/BD release.
