Visual kei band ViViD is getting ready to release new single HIKARI with tie-up as the second opening theme for anime Magi – The Kingdom of Magic. Its their 7th single and comes on four editions. Single HIKARI hits stores next week on February 5th 2014 – full details and audio preview follows.
Anime Magi – The Kingdom of Magic continues as the second season of anime Magi – The Labyrinth of Magic that aired 25 episodes October 2012 – April 2013. The anime is adapted from manga by Shinobu Ohtaka and takes characters from and a re-telling of the Arabian Nights stories.
The anime features Ishihara Kaori as Aladden, and Yuuki Kaji as Alibaba, and Haruka Tomatsu as Morgana. Anime Magi – The Kingdom of Magic began airing in Japan October 6th 2013 on MBS TV and TBS TV. The anime’s new ending theme is provided by 9nine with their 12th single With You / With Me releasing March 12th 2014 (more details).
ViViD is holding a special release event for new single HIKARI on February 8th 2014 at Laforet Museum Harajuku Tokyo – a sofa-sit meeting with your favorite group member! Participation by presenting two of the event tickets included with each version of the single.
New single HIKARI comes on four editions,
– Limited A with DVD containing title track music video and making-of footage. Includes gift entry ticket, event participation ticket.
– Limited B with DVD containing special ViViD footage. Includes gift entry ticket, event participation ticket.
– Regular CD-only with bonus coupling track. First Press version adds the gift entry ticket, event participation ticket, plus picture label (1 of 5).
– Limited Pressing anime themed CD-only with illustrated jacket cover and bonus TV-size and karaoke versions of title song. Includes bonus set of stickers, event participation ticket and gift entry ticket.
Selected stores offer additional bonus poster, HMV, Tower Records, Tsutaya, and others (varies by store).
