Unit NyaKB with Tsuchinoko Panda provides the 3rd ending theme Idol wa Unyanya no Kudan (アイドルはウーニャニャの件) for ongoing anime Yo-Kai Watch (妖怪ウォッチ). NyaKB consists of 7 AKB48 group idols lead by Shimazaki Haruka who has also provided the voice of guest character Yukippe in the anime. NyaKB with Tsuchinoko Panda is a virtual idol group in the anime TV series and now debuts in the real world. Special unit NyaKB includes AKB48 group members: Shimazaki Haruka (AKB48), Matsui Jurina (SKE48), Miyawaki Sakura (HKT48), Kawaei Rina (AKB48), Kizaki Yuria (AKB48), Kato Rena (AKB48), Kojima Mako (AKB48).
Anime Yo-Kai Watch, adapted from RPG games from Level-5, follows Amano Keita who unknowingly freed youkai Whisper form 190 years of imprisonment. Whisper gives Keita a special watch that allows him to see other youkai. Keita along with Whisper and cat spirit Jibanyan team-up to solve youkai problems.
The popular kids anime currently airs 6:30pm Fridays on TV Tokyo in Japan and normally ranks 6th or 7th in the ratings behind One Piece. The first movie adaption (2014.12.20) produced by TOHO set a record with over 1 million tickets pre-sold. The anime stars Haruka Tomatsu as Keita and recently aired its 61st episode.
