ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION unveiled the jacket covers and preview music video for new single Right Now. Their 21st single has tie-up as theme for movie Pink and Gray (ピンクとグレー). Single Right Now comes on two editions hitting stores January 6th 2016.
The band celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2016 and also recently announced they’ll provide the opening theme song for upcoming anime ERASED (BokuMachi, Boku dake ga Inai Machi, 僕だけがいない街). The song title and other details haven’t yet been revealed. The anime starts January 7th 2016 – more details coming!.
Movie Pink and Gray (ピンクとグレー) is adapted from novel by Kato Sigeaki (加藤 シゲアキ) who is also a well known actor and member of Johnny’s Entertainment vocal unit NEWS. The story follows classmates Kawada Daiki and Suzuki Shingo as they enter the entertainment world. Life and death with lots of drama follows.
The movie premieres January 9th 2016 in Japan and features Nakajima Yuto (Hey! Say! JUMP) as Daiki and Suda Masaki as Shingo.
Single Right Now comes on two editions. Coupling tracks were captured live during the band’s Tour 2015 Wonder Future. Jacket covers and more details coming!
