ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION just released new album Wonder Future and recently revealed album TVCM spot plus a music video for new song Planet of the Apes (Saru no Wakusei, 猿の惑星) with tie-up as theme for TBS TV drama REPLAY & DESTROY. Album Wonder Future comes on two editions that hit stores May 27th 2015 plus a vinyl LP releasing June 24th 2015. Read on for more release details and PVs.
It been nearly 3 years since the band released 7th album Landmark (2012.09.12). Their 8th original album Wonder Future includes recently single Easter (復活祭) that released March 18th 2015. Both the single and new album were recorded at the Foo Fighter’s private Los Angeles USA Studio 606. and Rock Falcon Studio.
AKG also announced the ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION World Tour 2015 ‘Wonder Future’ that starts July 5th 2015 at Toda City Cultural Hall Saitama. The tour is currently scheduled for 30 performances in Japan through the summer and fall finishing up October 24th 2015 at Citizens’ Large Hall Okinawa. The tour extends to Latin America with performances planed for Santiago Chile (Nov 14th 2015), Sao Paulo Brazil (Nov 15th 2015), Buenos Aires Argentina (Nov 18th 2015), and Mexico City Mexico (Nov 20th 2015). Album Wonder Future comes on three editions. First Press adds bonus sticker (sample) and deluxe packaging. The vinyl LP includes member autographs (quantities very limited).
