Unit OxT unveiled more details for their debut single KIMERO!! with tie-up as the ending theme for season two of anime Ace of the Diamond. The single comes on one CD-only edition with bonus. Single KIMERO!! hits stores May 20th 2015 – more details and audio preview follow.
The new unit is formed by composer/producer Tom H@ck and singer/songwriter Oiishi Masayoshi (大石昌良). As Tom H@ck featuring Oiishi Masayoshi the combi provided Ace of the Diamond season one opening themes Go EXCEED!! and Perfect Hero. They are going forward as new unit OxT.
Oiishi Masayoshi (35) debuted as vocalist and guitarist for group Sound Schedule in 2001. In 2008 he made his solo debut and has released 6 singles and 4 albums.
Tom H@ck (Oshima Tomohiro, 大嶋 文博) (29) has collaborated with numerous artists including SuG (29 songs), Aya Hirano, Faylan, Yoko Hikasa, and others. He has composed/arranged numerous anime tied songs including many songs for hit anime K-ON!. At the age of 23 he composed/arranged K-ON! opening theme Cagayake! GIRLS and common character song Let’s Go.
Anime Ace of the Diamond is adapted from baseball manga by Yuji Terajima and the second season continues the story of first-year high school pitcher Eijun Sawamura who along with the rest of his teammates striving to win top High School “Koshien” championship.
The anime is produced by Madhouse and Production I.G.. Anime Ace of Diamonds aired its first 75 episodes from October 2013 through March 2015 with season two starting April 6th 2015 on TV Tokyo.
