Her 11th single and part of her 5th anniversary celebrations has tie-up as ending theme for anime Battle Spirits Burning Soul. Singer songwritter Sasaki Sayaka wrote the lyrics for both tracks on her new single. Most recently she released anisong cover album SAYAKAVER on March 25th 2015 (more details). Sasaki Sayaka signed with the Lantis record label in 2010 after winning the 2009 3rd annual Animax Song Grand Prix of Japan. Year 2015 marks her 5th anniversary since debut.
Anime Battle Spirits Burning Soul is the 7th season of Battle Spirits anime franchise that started with its first season in 2008. The anime adapts Bandai’s Battle Spirits card game – the new season features battle players who duel with cards summoning spirits and creating Sengoku themed battles.
The ongoing anime began its 7th season April 1st 2015 on TV Tokyo in Japan.
