Aimer (エメ) revealed details for new single ninelie sung in collaboration with chelly of EGOIST and has tie-up as ending theme for upcoming anime KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS (Kotetsujo no Kabaneri, 甲鉄城のカバネリ). Her 9th single is also a collaboration with Sawano Hiroyuki who produces the title track and coupling track Through My Blood <AM>. Single ninelie comes on three editions hitting stores May 11th 2016.
The anime KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS premieres on the Fuji TV Noitamina time-slot April 7th 2016 in Japan and will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video world-wide (a first for the streaming service). A special prequel episode will be shown in theaters in Japan March 18th through 24th 2016.
Unit EGOIST provides the opening theme of the same name KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS.

Anime KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS (Kotetsujo no Kabaneri, 甲鉄城のカバネリ) is an original story with scripts by Okouchi Ichiro (Code Geass), character design by Mikimoto Haruhiko (Gunbuster), and directed by Araki Tetsuro (Attack on Titan, Guilty Crown). Music director Sawano Hiroyuki and production studio WIT further reunite the team that brought hit anime Attack on Titan.
The steampunk themed story has humans living in walled fortress stations protected from the "Kabane" – zombies with steel hearts. Humans can only travel between stations on massive armored trains.
Single ninelie comes on three editions (details subject to change). Limited Pressing anime features drawn jacket cover and available through September 2016.
