Fo’xTails provides the opening theme The LiBERTY for upcoming anime Handa-kun (はんだくん) and they unveiled the music video for their 5th single. The strong hard-rock tune comes on one CD-only edition releasing August 3rd 2016.
Most recently the anisong rock band released 4th single Contrast on February 3rd 2016. The single has tie-up as ending theme for anime Dimension W.
At the end of April 2016 the group announced that they would go forward as a 4-member unit with member TakaHiro (峻洋(Dr) (2nd right) leaving the group. Their management noted a long running differences with the group’s direction and goals as the main reasons.
Anime Handa-kun (はんだくん) adapted from manga by Yoshino Satsuki is a spin-off from his Barakamon comedy manga. The high school anime features Shimazaki Nobunaga (Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club, Ace of Diamond) in the lead roll of Hanada Sei.
The anime airs starting July 7th 2016 on TBS TV in Japan and provider Funimation.com simulcasts. Voice actor Suzumura Kenichi (鈴村 健一 ) sings ending theme HIDE-AND-SEEK.
Single The LiBERTY comes on one CD-only edition. Select stores offer bonus artist photo (animate, Tower Records, and others).
