Idol group AKB48 slips to #3 with 44th single Tsubasa wa Iranai (翼はいらない) with a three week total of over 1.55 million. The single is tied to their fan voting event to select the members for their 45th single (Senbatsu Sousenkyo).
Topping the album chart is unit HiGH & LOW featuring members from EXILE TRIBE (J Soul Brothers, GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, E-girls, and others) with ORIGINAL BEST ALBUM selling over 257,000 copies.
Voice actor Haruka Tomatsu lands at #11 & #13 with a pair of greatest hits albums BEST SELECTION -starlight- and BEST SELECTION -sunshine-. Band Galileo Galilei lands at #15 with their greatest hits album Sharin no Jiku as their final release.
