Natsuno’s return from death grants him a visit from Tatsumi. Hoping to enjoy his last days amongst the living, Toshio takes the mistress of Kanemasa to the village’s yearly festival.

As Shiki continue to rid the village of the living, Seishin finally makes a move. On another late night at the clinic, Toshio gets a visitor.

Sunako calls Toru to Kanemasa to share a piece of her past with him. The Shiki’s curse looms over Kaori as she finds her mother still in bed, pale and drained of energy.

The Shiki are bent on keeping the outside world in the dark about the deaths in Sotoba. When Toshio threatens to expose them, a member of the Kanemasa mansion pays him a visit.

Kaori’s father suddenly collapses. At the clinic, Toshio studies his wife’s corpse for clues on how to combat the vampires.

The population of the village grows thin as the blood-sucking okiagari claim more victims, including Toshio’s wife. With no strength left in his body, Natsuno invites Toru in for a last feeding.

After Toru’s attack, Natsuno warns Kaori and her brother to escape the village before they fall victim to the vampires as well.

While Sotoba’s villagers are debating the cause of the frequent deaths, the town shaman points her finger at the residents of Kanemasa mansion.

Toshio and Natsuno’s suspicions were true. Okiagari—creatures of legend that were once human that feed on the lives of others—are now stalking Natsuno.

Living in a small village, Megumi two main interests are classmate Natsuno Yuuki and a European-style house on a hill. One day, when her fascination with the house leads her to climb the hill, she vanishes.

Ema is troubled and hurt by the revelation she finds in the official copy of her family register. As she works through it, she gets to know a little more about Natsume, Louis, and the Asahina family.

With Azusa falling ill, Tsubaki struggles with how their fight resulted in Azusa's collapse. And in the meantime, Ema does her best to help out wherever she can.

Ema, Yusuke, and Futo have their school's Culture Fest coming up, where Futo gets up to his usual mischief. And at home, Azusa seems to be starting to crack under the pressure of the role he won away from Tsubaki.

Ema and Yusuke are in for a surprise at school, courtesy of Futo. And the snapshots Ema has been taking garner some attention since none of the brothers ever think to take photos.

A lack of dinner ingredients leads to a picnic under the cherry blossoms. And Ema finally has a chance to see Subaru play basketball.

Now a couple months into her new living arrangement, Ema's relationships with some of her brothers are growing and changing. As she roots for Tsubaki to get his dream voice acting gig, she also bonds with Natsume over video games.

Ema finds out what Futo wants from her. And with her father's wedding coming up, she finally meets the last of the thirteen brothers.

After spending a lot of time alone with her father away overseas for work all the time, Ema is enjoying being part of a big family. But she also has some interesting run-ins with Futo, the family's pop star with an attitude.
