A school festival gives Haruto the opportunity to meet Yuzuki face-to-face for the first time since he's arrived in Tokyo.

Haruto thinks back on how he and Yuzuki first met and the time they shared together back in Hiroshima.

Haruto is torn. He finally realizes who he's in love with, but the thought of having to break someone's heart in the process torments him.

Yuzuki and Haruto relive their childhood memories together by attending the summer festival. Reluctantly, Yuzuki confesses her true feelings to Haruto.

Due to an injury in her family, Asuka is forced to cancel her trip with Haruto. Haruto decides to go back to Hiroshima to visit his friends and ends up reconnecting with Yuzuki.

Hoping to reconnect with the love of his life, Hotaru moves to Tokyo. Upon arriving, he finds that she's refusing to see him.

The medication completely gone from his system, Nico suffers and goes berserk. Wanting his medicine, Nico attacks Hachiman. Upa and Liang is surprised to see Nico in that state. Then, the traitor, Qi, appears. Qi understands medications can turn into poison if they’re not handled properly. He remembers the days when Hachiman used to treat him like a tool along with Upa and Liang.

In class C finals, Ace battles Kroell. With Kroell's leader skill cutting his Dark-attribute attacks in half, Ace has a hard time dealing damage against Kroell. However, seeing how poorly Kroell treats his monsters, this is a fight Ace cannot lose.
