He awakens to find Lyria at his bedside, happy to see him well after the incident with Pommern and the Hydra. Katalina and Lyria explain to Gran the situation he now finds himself in, and that he must now make the bold action to journey with them.

Tokio and Calen arrive to Italy in 1589. They find some slightly chubby people pushing the Leaning Tower of Pisa diagonally. Apparently it always ends up straight when no one’s pushing on it. And then, Galileo Galilei shows up swaying to some music and starts rapping. Apparently Galileo was a rapper! Akudarma attempt to do a rap battle with him to try to get him to study astronomy...

Gran and Vyrn live on the sleepy, far-flung island of Zinkenstill. Their quiet lives are rocked by the sound of a sudden explosion and the sight of battleship in the sky. They follow a light that falls from the battleship into the forbidden woods, where they encounter a mysterious girl.

Kiri returns from Dungeon World, hoping to prevent the creation of Dragon Drei. Before he has a chance to put his plan into action, Gao invites Kiri to a friendly Buddyfight.

As Bon, Konekomaru and Shiemi try to deal with their responses to recent events, Yaozo summons the family heads of the Myoda sect. As they discuss the incident with the Right Eye, the group begins to question the mysterious actions of Head Priest Tatsuma.

When they end up in the nurse's office with Kamikura Fuyune, they decide to go visit her grandmother, the school principal, Kamikura Ryuko.
