Inspector Zenigata concocts an extravagant plan to finally capture Lupin by luring him in with a fake meteor made from 6 tons of pure gold. Low and behold, his plan backfires and Lupin and his gang make off with the meteor.

Lupin breaks out a man named Parker from a Mexican prison in order to steal the treasure Parker had hidden away somewhere. However, not a single piece of truth comes out of Parker’s mouth. Meanwhile, Fujiko is busy seducing Parker to find out the treasure’s whereabouts and is scheming to take the treasure for herself. Parker agrees to split his treasure with her, but Parker isn’t the type to keep promises either. Lupin and Fujiko successfully pull off a heist; that is, until Zenigata manages to shoot Lupin with a tranquilizer dart. Zenigata hauls Lupin off to jail. Despite Fujiko's best efforts, she cannot break Lupin out of prison.

A boat collision ruins Lupin and Fujiko's quiet boating expedition. They discover a woman named Linda in the other boat just as gunmen on a larger boat attack them.
