Ichigo, Kashino, Lemon, and new partner Johnny meet together to go over ideas for sweets shops, but before they can get started Johnny gets lectured to by his Sweets Spirit, Maize. Maize is very particular about etiquette, and if you make her mad she'll fry you like one of her specialty sweets! Meanwhile, Henri-sensei announced that the first street of shops will be opened in only a week, and it features none other than a branch Yumezuki run by Andoh. However, at the same time, Henri announces that all the shops will be ranked, and the one in last place each month will be closed down! Running a shop in Marie's Garden just got a whole lot more competitive!

1) The Aizawa sisters run the business at the sea "Lemon" where they serve beach goers. During their busiest hour, a strange girl appears before the younger sister Eiko. A hat with three points, wavy, water-colored hair, and a white one-piece suit. She calls herself Squid Girl and claims to be a messenger from the sea who's come to subdue humanity. When Eiko tries to dismiss her ludicruous speech, she unleashes the wrath of Squid Girl. 2) Squid Girl is stuck working for the house at the sea "Lemon". Being worked so hard, she feels down when a shadow creeps up on her. When she tries to run from that shadow, her tentacles are grabbed. When she turns around, she sees a boy's face, full of curiosity. 3) Due to the rain, the Lemon is deserted. Because of the chill, Squid Girl sneezes and covers the older sister Chizuru in a black liquid. When Chizuru licks this liquid... She realizes it's tasty tasty squid ink. When Squid Girl finds out that humans eat spaghetti mixed with squid ink...

Niche thinks she has failed at being Lag's dingo, so she runs away from home with her pet(?) Steak. Worried, Lag and Connor head out to search for Niche. However Niche, hungry and wandering aimlessly around town, sneaks into the bread and weapons shop Sinners and tries to finally cook Steak, but the Gobenis catch her in the act.

3: Male students keep going missing at Daten City High. At the principal's begging, the dynamic duo, Panty & Stocking, are infiltrate the school, pretending to be students. However, the world they enter is ruled by the school's queen. 4: Panty & Stocking become celebrities within Daten City. Following this, they receive an offer to be in a film. Because of one little line Panty utters at the film premiere event, a huge scandal erupts!

In order to rid the city of the Ghost, the priest, Garterbelt, dispatches the two angels, Panty and Stocking, to the scene. -- Panty, as easy as usual, is engaging in a one night stand with a biker in her regular haunt, the Immoral Motel. While this is going on, Stocking engages in a high speed car chase with an out of control, mysterious sports car on the freeway.
