Jack and Tasuku face their first Inverse Fiend opponent, Sophia. Knowing that the loser of the battle will be turned to stone, Jack is gripped by the fear of losing Tasuku. Meanwhile, Sophia's loyalty to Kyoya forces Yamigedo to take over her body.

Yamigedo's cocoon continues to spread strange threads that petrify all that they touch. When the Defense Forces and Buddy Police are unable to deal with this menace, the Omni Lords and their buddies attempt an underground infiltration of Yamigedo's lair.

Trapped inside O-Yamigedo as he hurtles towards Earth, the Omni Lords battle their clones, the evil Inverse Omni Lords. On Earth, humanity takes shelter as Ikazuchi faces off against Gratos in a Buddyfight to prove who is worthy of commanding the monster.

The eight Omni Lords are ready to face Yamigedo. They travel to the Moon to seal him, but are interrupted by the eight Inverse Omni Lords. As Yamigedo bursts out of his cocoon and attacks, Gratos's conquest of the Earth begins.

Gao's mom returns from America and is attacked by Ikazuchi, who wants a rematch with Gao. Gratos finds a new use for Ikazuchi and sends Noboru to capture him. As Gao and Noboru face off in a Buddyfight, the truth about Ikazuchi's tragic past is revealed.

Gratos tests Sophia's loyalty by ordering her to capture Grangadez. Her incomplete summoning of Grangadez causes the Omni Lord to go on a rampage. When Kiri finds himself affected by Grangadez's rage, Rouga is forced to face both Omni Lords in combat.

Trapped in a dark future created by Variable Cord's selfish actions, Tasuku must find a way to heal Jack and time-travel home. Meanwhile, Sophia finds herself captured by the future version of Gratos. Can Tasuku find hope and save the future?

Tasuku is filled with hope when Paruko receives a transmission from Jack, last seen travelling to the future Star Dragon World. Sophia claims she can help Tasuku travel to the future and reunite with his Buddy. How far will Tasuku go to rescue Jack?

Shido heads to Cho-Hodaka to capture an Omni Lord, accompanied by the villainous Davide. Meanwhile, Kiri struggles to deal with the painful burden of his sad memories. He faces his old nemesis, hoping for closure and inner peace.

Rucy and Tetsuya join Asmodai in his desperate attempt to take back the part of him that Yamigedo devoured. But nobody is prepared for what they see in the belly of the beast. Meanwhile, Tiger continues his relentless battles against top Buddyfighters.

Tetsuya's joy at meeting his favorite rock band fades when the lead singer, Rucy, insults Asmodai　and calls him a traitor. As Rucy and Asmodai's shared past comes to light and Asmodai prepares to　leave this world, Tetsuya's faith in Asmodai is tested.

While investigating some Omni Lord sightings, Gao encounters some familiar faces. But complications arise when Shido and Sophia arrive, seeking to capture the Omni Lord for themselves. In all the chaos, Kiri is forced to face a secret from his past.

Zanya is shocked to hear that Jin is missing after receiving a mysterious summons. Suzuha receives a letter from the same sender, who reveals himself to be Noboru and challenges her to a Buddyfight. The changes in Noboru surprise friend and foe alike.

Gao is frustrated by Count Dawn's refusal to rescue Noboru before the Omni Lords are all assembled. Meanwhile, the Fifth Omni Cavalry Dragons won't accept Drum as their leader. Can Gao convince them to join in a final assault on Ikazuchi's secret lair?
